SofaScroll lets you save links to short videos and watch them together. This page explains who owns what, the trademarks of the platforms SofaScroll works with, and how to report a copyright concern.
The SofaScroll app and brand
© SofaScroll. The SofaScroll app, the SofaScroll name and logo, and its written copy and visual design are owned by SofaScroll. Please do not copy or reuse them without permission.
Videos and other platforms
SofaScroll does not host, store, or re-host any videos. When you save a link, the video opens through its original platform's own player. The videos and their thumbnails belong to the people who created them and the platforms that host them.
TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, Snapchat, Facebook, Chromecast, and Google TV are trademarks of their respective owners. SofaScroll is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.
Reporting a copyright concern
If you believe a link saved in SofaScroll points to content that infringes your copyright, email contact@sofascroll.com and include:
- A description of the work you say is infringed.
- The link, or the room or queue, where it appears.
- Your name and contact details.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information above is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
We review valid reports and remove the offending link from our index. Because we only store the link and never the video itself, removing it takes the link out of SofaScroll. The original video stays wherever its platform hosts it.
